Build Your Career in Montana Commercial Real Estate
We Are Looking for Driven, Client-First Professionals
We are not looking for everyone. We are looking for the right person — driven, client-first, and serious about building a real career in one of Montana’s most dynamic commercial real estate markets. Eagen Real Estate offers direct mentorship from one of the most experienced commercial brokers in Montana, real transaction volume across every asset class, and the kind of local reputation that opens doors before you even make a call.
Tell Us About Yourself
No formal cover letter required. Just tell us who you are, what you have done, and why commercial real estate in Missoula interests you. All applications are reviewed personally by Jessie Eagen.
Commercial Real Estate Agent — Open Position
We are looking for a licensed Montana real estate agent — or someone actively working toward licensure — who wants to build a career in commercial brokerage. This is a ground-floor opportunity to learn the full spectrum of commercial real estate under one of Montana's most experienced brokers. The right candidate does not need a commercial background — we can teach the market. What we cannot teach is work ethic, integrity, and genuine care for clients.
What we are looking for: Montana real estate license or active pursuit of licensure, genuine interest in commercial real estate rather than a residential crossover, strong communication and professional presence, Missoula-based with community connections, self-motivation with a long-term career mindset. Prior commercial real estate experience is a plus but not required. Compensation is commission-based with mentorship from Jessie Eagen from day one.
What a Career at Eagen Real Estate Actually Looks Like
You will work across every commercial asset class in the Missoula market — multifamily, retail, office, industrial, land, business brokerage, and Montana liquor license and casino sales. You will be involved in real transactions from the beginning, not filing paperwork in a back office waiting for your turn. The learning curve is steep and the expectations are high, but the experience is real and the trajectory is yours to control.
Missoula is not a saturated market with 500 brokers competing for the same listings. It is a growing city with real transaction volume, limited serious commercial competition, and significant opportunity for a skilled broker who knows the market and builds strong client relationships. The brokers who succeed here are the ones who do the work, know every asset class cold, and treat every client like a long-term relationship — not a single transaction.
Experienced Broker Opportunities
If you are an experienced commercial broker — in Montana or considering relocation to the Missoula market — we are always open to a conversation. The right person with market experience and established client relationships does not need to wait for a formal opening. Bring your track record and your relationships to a market where those things translate directly into opportunity.
Eagen Real Estate is not a franchise operation with corporate overhead and split caps that erode your earnings. We are a lean, experienced brokerage with a 34-year reputation in this market and deep relationships across every category of commercial buyer and seller in Western Montana. If that environment interests you, the conversation is worth having.
Why Missoula Is the Right Market to Build a Commercial Career
Western Montana is one of the fastest-growing markets in the Mountain West. Missoula specifically has seen consistent population growth, significant commercial development activity, and increasing interest from out-of-state investors and operators who are discovering the market. That growth translates directly into transaction volume across every commercial category.
The commercial brokerage landscape in Missoula is not crowded with deeply experienced operators. The barrier to building a meaningful career here — for someone willing to learn the market and put in the work — is lower than it is in Bozeman, Denver, or other Mountain West markets. The opportunity is real for the right person.
